What are FastFacts?

FastFacts is an online training tool that addresses specific topics. You might not have time to find the answers to these questions yourself, or you may not know where to look, so we bring the information straight to your desk. As long as you have a computer, telephone and an internet connection, you can attend FastFacts events virtually anywhere! The sessions focus on specific aspects of complex systems, programs, and bureaucratic infrastructures that Hopkins employees rely on, and recent topics have included Taming Your Outlook Calendar and Inbox, Understanding Grant Master Data, Checking the Status of Online Payment Requests, and Exporting Data from BW and R/3.

How does FastFacts work?

First, a subject-matter expert delivers a presentation that lasts about thirty minutes. Afterwards, participants have a chance to ask questions that weren’t answered in the presentation. The entire session usually takes somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour.
